Daniel has been a Wimbledon resident for 16 years and has served as a Borough Councillor for Hillside since being first elected in 2014. Daniel is the Deputy Leader of the local Conservatives and serves as the group whip. Daniel also leads on environment and town planning matters, and is Vice-Chair of the Sustainable Communities Overview and Scrutiny Panel on the council where he holds Labour to account on waste, parking, environment, transport and housing issues. A former local school governor for 11 years, and committed civic society supporter, Daniel is also a member of the Wimbledon Society and Wimbledon Village Club. Professionally, he works in the chemical industry, specialising in design and safety of chemical facilities. A keen walker, who is passionate about our parks and protecting green spaces and keeping Wimbledon nice for all.
Suzanne Grocott
Suzanne has lived in Wimbledon for 18 years. Professionally she is a Chartered Accountant and worked in the City’s financial services sector for more than 30 years until her retirement in 2020. Suzanne served as a Merton Councillor for 8 years between 2010 and 2018 where she was the Conservative lead for Finance and sat on the Healthier Communities and Older Persons Overview and Scrutiny Panel. Suzanne volunteers at the Polka Theatre and can frequently be found at one of the Wimbledon cinemas or theatres.
