Statement on the Boundary Commission Final Report – June 23

The Boundary Commission have laid before Parliament their final report of the 2023 review. 

Firstly, I would like to thank the Commissioner and Assistant Commissioners for their hard work. Reshaping the political map of the UK is no easy task. 

Conservative victory as Morden Park tennis courts refurbishment begins 

After years of pressure from Conservative Cannon Hill councillors the tennis courts in Morden Park are finally being refurbished. Local Conservative councillors Nick McLean and Michael Paterson have led the fight to have our local tennis courts refurbished and now work has finally begun.

Opposing Labour's Power Grab

Labour-run Merton Council have brought forward new proposals to increase the power of the Labour Planning Committee Chairman, which will be voted on at Annual Council on 17th May. 

Our Fight against ULEZ

Merton Conservatives are proud of our record of standing up for Merton residents. We have been consistent in fighting to stop the ULEZ expansion to Merton.
