Save Wimbledon! - Our statement on St George's East

At a recent Merton Planning Applications Committee, the Labour majority approved an application for a 12 storey office building at St George’s House East, opposite Wimbledon Train Station. Labour Councillors, none of whom represent Wimbledon, all voted in favour.

Update on the AELTC - 03/02/22

At Wednesday's meeting of Merton Council, Conservative Councillors presented a petition signed by over a thousand residents which called on the Council to enforce the covenant which protects parkland from development by the All England Lawn Tennis Club (AELTC).
