A St Helier Hospital for the 21st Century - Have your say!

The NHS Plans

In 2015 the Government committed an extra £8 billion a year to the NHS in new money. Now the NHS has developed local plans to improve the quality of healthcare and give residents the healthcare they want. In Merton the NHS has published its plan. There are no plans to close any local hospitals.

The NHS plan is about improving the quality of St Helier, investing more in local community health services, and better focusing on the needs of patients.

The NHS plan includes:

1) Bringing care closer to home to reduce hospital admissions.

2) Ensuring A&E better meets the needs of local people.

3) Better integrating mental and physical care.

4) Using new technology to deliver better healthcare.

Have your say

We want to work with you and your neighbours to make sure that you and your family get the best possible healthcare.

Please take a few minutes to fill in the survey online here to let us know what you want from our local NHS.  (If the link fails to load, please copy and paste https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/bettersthelier into your browser).

We are also holding a public meeting on 18th March at 11am at the Morden Brook, Lower Morden Lane,

Together we can build an even better St Helier.
