Adam has lived in Raynes Park most of his life serving as a local councillor since 2014. He has an Accounting & Finance degree and an MBA. Adam is a qualified accountant and works for the UK’s fifth-largest accountancy firm. Adam serves on the Council’s General Purposes and Standards Committee where he is involved in scrutinising how taxpayers’ money is spent. He is also Vice-Chair of Merton’s Pension Fund Investment Advisory Panel. Adam feels passionately that all local families should have access to good quality education, as a former governor at Raynes Park High School & Dundonald Primary School, his aim is to see schools in Raynes Park continue to thrive as a great place for children to learn and get the best start in life.
Omar has lived in Raynes Park his entire life. Having grown up and gone to school here, he understands the issues facing families in Raynes Park. Omar graduated from Kingston University with a degree in Accounting & Finance and now works for a mid-size firm specialising in tax. He is keen to use his local knowledge together with this background in finance to represent the interests of Raynes Park residents and ensure their voices are heard. Through his involvement in various community projects, Omar has worked closely with businesses and residents across the ward. This has inspired him to stand for elected office to represent Raynes Park on Merton Council.
David is a life-long South Londoner, brought up on the St Helier Estate. David has lived, with his wife and three children, in Dundonald since 1997. He has a keen interest in the environment and during his 12 years as a councillor has worked hard to make Merton greener. Sitting on the Planning Committee, David works to stop large or ugly buildings ruining our town. He is actively campaigning to ensure Crossrail 2 does not negatively impact the area. He has served as a Governor at Dundonald School and was one of many residents who created the Friends of Dundonald Rec.
