Group Leader (Cannon Hill ward councillor)

Nicholas McLean, first elected in May 2018 and since February 2019 is the Conservative Group Leader on Merton Council.

Nicholas lives in Monkleigh Road with his civil partner. Nick has travelled widely throughout his life. Born in Wellington, New Zealand, he left for North America at the age of 18 to pursue a career in sport. In the nineties he moved permanently to the United Kingdom; he has lived in London ever since. Initially working in the hospitality industry, Nick then began a career in financial services. In 2010, he started his own business, Paxton Private Finance. In his spare time, Nick enjoys exercising, socialising, and sport, and is a keen member of the Cannon Hill community.

Omar has lived in Raynes Park his entire life. Having grown up and gone to school here, he understands the issues facing families in Raynes Park. Omar graduated from Kingston University with a degree in Accounting & Finance and now works for a mid-size firm specialising in tax.

Trinity - Cllr Hayley Ormrod

Hayley was born in Blackpool and moved to London after attaining a degree in Business. She is married, has an 8 year old daughter and has lived in Wimbledon since 2008.
