Cllr Daniel Holden - Deputy Leader of Merton Conservatives

Deputy Leader of Merton Conservatives & Shadow Cabinet Member for Environment (Parks, Transport, Parking, Air Quality & Cleaner Streets) and Hillside Ward councillor

Daniel is a chemical engineer by training and works in the chemical industry.  Daniel loves living in Wimbledon and is passionate about preserving the character and heritage of Wimbledon. Through his shadow portfolio role, Daniel works hard to improve the street scene and wants Merton to be a nice and pleasant place to live. Daniel is Vice-Chair of the Sustainable Communities Overview & Scrutiny Panel and occasionally is on the Planning Applications Committee. Daniel is a school governor at Bond Primary School in Mitcham. 

Daniel seeks to be a community and scrutinising Councillor - because he believes it is one of the best ways to make a contribution locally. He also enjoys travelling around the world, watching films at the cinema, and he can be often spotted walking through our nice and pleasant parks!

Omar has lived in Raynes Park his entire life. Having grown up and gone to school here, he understands the issues facing families in Raynes Park. Omar graduated from Kingston University with a degree in Accounting & Finance and now works for a mid-size firm specialising in tax.

Trinity - Cllr Hayley Ormrod

Hayley was born in Blackpool and moved to London after attaining a degree in Business. She is married, has an 8 year old daughter and has lived in Wimbledon since 2008.
