Future Wimbledon Master Plan

Merton Council are consulting on their new Future Wimbledon Masterplan.

The council has created its Future Wimbledon Masterplan to supplement Merton’s current planning policies for the town centre to ensure greater clarity and confidence in the planning system, promote better quality design and encourage investment.

The proposed Future Wimbledon Masterplan is available online: www.merton.gov.uk/futurewimbledon

It is also available to view at Wimbledon Library (normal opening times: 9.30am - 7.00pm Monday – Friday and 9.30am – 5.00pm Saturday) https://arena.yourlondonlibrary.net/web/merton/wimbledon-library

Have your say, tell Merton Council your views on the draft Future Wimbledon Masterplan by 6 January 2019:

  • Via public meeting organised by the Friends of Wimbledon Town Centre on: Monday 12 November, 7.00pm, Merton Arts Space (Wimbledon Library) - The emphasis of the meeting be on listening to the Council officer(s) and asking questions. Space is limited so the group are operating the event on a first come first served basis.
  • Via the Council’s online survey: www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/FutureWimbledon
  • By emailing the Council: [email protected]
  • Or by writing to the Council: Future Merton team, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden SM4 5DX

Please share your thoughts and comments with your Conservative councillors so we can help shape a Wimbledon that works for residents, as we all have to live with whatever is built in the future.
